The storm will very likely reach category 5 strength tonight, peaking at around 150 knots as it is further fueled by improving outflow ahead of the passing trough. As outflow improves ahead of the passing trough, DOLPHIN is expected to reach peak intensity near t+72 while it crosses the ridge axis. DOLPHIN continued to move north along a weakness in the subtropical ridge. The ridge is expected to strengthen soon, filling the weakness and propelling DOLPHIN to the west. The storm will track increasingly poleward towards the end of the forecast period as it reaches the southwestern periphery of the subtropical ridge.
Vertical wind shear remained rather strong and is the main obstacle against DOLPHIN's development. Environmental conditions are expected to improve and the storm will strengthen gradually, albeit slowly at first.

There is a slight dent in the subtropical ridge north of DOLPHIN. The storm will track a little bit poleward over the next 24 hours, before reaching the southern edge of the strengthening ridge and turning west. It will then move W to WNW in the remainder of the forecast period.
Shear is a bit strong now, and is evident in DOLPHIN's convections being sheared to the west. Environmental conditions will improve and the storm is expected to strengthen gradually.

07W is expected to move northwest in the next 48 hours, then turning to west as it reaches the southern periphery of the subtropical ridge. A track towards the WNW is expected at later taus.
The low-level westerlies have weakened as 07W started to turn north. It is expected to move north in the next 12 to 24 hours, followed by a gradual turn towards the northwest under the influence of the subtropical ridge.
07W looks slightly better than yesterday, but is still very loose. It will only be able to intensify slowly before it develops an efficient ventilation mechanism.

07W is currently moving east under low-level westerly flow. This motion should be temporary; as the storm intensifies and gains depth, the subtropical ridge will gradually assume influence. The storm is expected to move north, followed by a westward turn.
07W is quite disorganized. Consolidation takes time and intensification will be slow initially. Vertical wind shear will drop at later taus, enabling 07W to strengthen at a faster rate.
